Join BHRA for the most row down, toe-tappin', boot-scootin' hoedown in town! Get together with former teammates, coaches, team parents and current athletes for a memorable evening filled with live music, a "blistering" Texas Hold 'em tournament,  bull riding, line dancing and more.  Get ready to celebrate two decades of outstanding rowing achievement and 
have some hoedown fun with us!

Ticket prices *:
$48 for adults
$42 for BABR alumni/ae
$35 for current BABR athletes 

Sponsor tickets:  $75 per person
(All tickets include heavy hors d'oeuvres, sllders and more, non-alcoholic beverage station, cash bar, dessert & coffee) 

Sponsorship donations are important contributions that help underwrite the cost of BHRA coaches attending the event and BHRA Scholarship Funds. Your sponsorship donation, excluding the value of goods and services ($44 per ticket), may be tax deductible to the fullest extent provided by law. All Anniversary Sponsors will be acknowledged at the 20th Anniversary Hoedown event and on our web page.

Is a Nurse Practitioner and currently working on her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at University of Texas Austin and she is expecting a baby boy in December!

Elizabeth Wilkey BAB ‘13
My fun milestone is that my boat came in 3rd at the United States Dragon Boat Federation Club Crew National Championship this past July, securing a berth at the International Dragon Boat Federation Club Crew World Championships next year in Italy.

Lives in Denver, CO, graduated from Prescott College in Arizona and got in engaged in 2021

Sadly I won’t be able to make it home for the anniversary, but here’s a little update! I still live in Madison, WI and got married June 2022 (we met on the rowing team at UW) and I am the farm manager at Highland Spring Farm.

Works for the NY Times and just completed the Berlin Marathon in a personal best of 3:25

Rachel Foote BAB ‘16
During her time on the rowing team at the University of New Hampshire, she was voted captain of the UNH Women’s Rowing Team for junior and senior year (2018-2020). She also recently bought her first home in Somerville!

is currently a Senior Project Manager at Global Atlantic Financial Group in Boston, MA

Kirsten Thiim BAB ’16 
is in her second year of medical school in Knoxville, TN.

Camryn Farren BAB ‘17
After graduating from Bromfield I attended the University of Tennessee where I was a coxswain on the Women’s varsity team. After graduating in 2022, I moved to Florida for 10 months. I'm now living in Georgia where I am now the first ever field marketing specialist for Ithaca Hummus!

Erin Smith BAB'18
I just completed my masters in journalism at the CNN Academy at UCD in Dublin. I also won the women’s collegiate longboard competition at the Irish university surfing nationals this Spring.

Ben Buchovecky BAB‘19
I graduated from Princeton and moved to Seattle to start as a research scientist in atmospheric sciences at the University of Washington.

Sophia DeFoe BAB'20
I will be racing at HOCR in the Womens Collegiate 8s category. This is Sunday at 2:51 PM. I will be 6 seat for Conn College 1v!

Max Ewing BAB ‘20 
was voted Captain of the Wesleyan University’s Men’s Rowing Team for 2023-24. At the 2023 IRA Championships, Max’s boat finished second in the DIII men’s 2nd varsity 8+ and secured second place in the DIII team points competition

Zoe Flanzer BAB'20
Recently, I became the first woman ever inducted into the UVM Boulder Society-- a 118 year old, historically men-only honors society that celebrates leadership, scholarship, and service.

Was in the winning Wellesley College DIII eight at the NCAA Championships 2022 and 2023. 

Molly O’Neill BAB ‘20 
was just voted Captain of the UConn Women’s Rowing Team and was key plaintiff in the Title IX lawsuit to reinstate the women's rowing program in 2021. They won the case!

Stefan Scornavacca BAB'20
Will be racing for BU Men’s Rowing in the Club 8+ ‘A’.  I am a senior on the BU men’s rowing team, on the team leadership council for the last 2 years. Have placed in 10th at the D1 IRA National Championships in the 3V8 and 2V8 the last 2 years.

Rachel Shrives BAB’20
Was also a member of the Wellesley College DIII Gold Medal Team at the NCAA Championships 2022 and 2023.
