BHRA offers both competitive and learn to row opportunities on Bare Hill Pond during the summer. With COVID-19 protocols in mind, we may have limitations on the number of boats we use, which could affect our participation numbers. We will do our best to accommodate all those interested in participating but this is not a guarantee.
The goal of summer rowing is to help our BABR athletes improve technique by becoming proficient in a sculling boat as well as maintain fitness and enhance racing skills. Those who do not have sculling experience will be taught. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are not sure what racing opportunities will be available this summer. Scrimmages with local clubs may be set up as an alternative.
