To keep everyone safe and healthy, BHRA protocols for our summer season that include social distancing and cleaning measures. All boats will launch from BHRA dock located near the Town dock. A BHRA daily health "check-in" will be implemented either by at site check-in (Learn to Row & Sculling programs) or online line through TeamSnap (competitive team)
Please adhere to these guidelines to ensure everyone can stay healthy and safe on the water. You will be asked to agree to each of these protocols in the registration.
Participant agrees to wear a MASK upon arriving at Bare Hill Pond, while on land, launching and landing. Mask may come OFF while on the water. MASK goes ON when returning to land and departing Bare Hill Pond.
To ensure social distancing, Participant agrees to maintain the appropriate distance while at the pond, getting and returning equipment and coming in to, leaving from and while on the dock.
Participant agrees to comply with all BHRA safety and cleaning protocols as instructed, including sanitizing hands before and after rowing.
Participant agrees to self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19 daily, including taking their temperature daily. If Participant's temperature is or exceeds 100.0, Participant agrees not to come to the pond and to notify the BHRA Program Director, Holly Hatton, in writing.
Participant agrees to certify their daily health check at the BHRA check-in station at the pond when arriving to row.
Participant agrees to handle and clean all equipment responsibly, to clean all equipment after use as instructed and to clean any surface touched.
Participant agrees to minimize personal items brought to the pond and to carry any personal items in a bag for which Participant alone is responsible. Items left behind may be discarded.
For everyone's safety, Participant agrees to the USRowing endorsed "Get In, Train, Get Out" policy to minimize any unnecessary time and contact at the beach and pond.
