FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

APPLICATIONS ARE TIME-SENSITIVE

Application Deadlines: Fall 2023 Applications

  • Returning Athletes:  Wednesday, August 23 at 11:59pm
  • New Athletes:  Friday, September 1 at 11:59pm

Bare Hill Rowing is committed to help athletes participate in our program regardless of financial circumstances. Two types of assistance are available for student athletes:

  • Scholarship Awards: non-need based awards covering partial or full seasonal tuition;  and
  • Need-based Financial Assistance including payment plans.
  • All scholarship awards and assistance requests require submitting an application by the due date established each season.

All athletes, including those receiving a scholarship or any type of financial assistance, are required to pay the club equipment fee corresponding to their level of participation.  In addition, applicants and their families must be current on all payments to the club, including equipment fee obligations, and satisfy/have satisfied  all  volunteer obligations, to be considered for any type of scholarship or financial assistance.  BHRA has no endowment to cover financial assistance.

Each season, BHRA establishes deadlines for applying for scholarships and financial assistance.  Deadlines are published with seasonal registration dates. Applications must be received by BHRA by the deadline dates.
