This program is comprised of:
Our goals are to:
provide middle schoolers with a level playing field to learn, excel, and try something new without having to compete against older rowers with far more experience;
offer developmentally-appropriate rowing in sculling boats, promoting wellness and longevity in the sport; and,
enable young athletes to gain a strong foundation and understanding of the work ethic, commitment and camaraderie that lies at the heart of rowing in preparation to become leaders on the competitive high school team, while still accommodating middle school schedules and interests.
Above all, we strive to help all of our rowers grow, develop and have fun with the sport of rowing, both on and off the water.
